![]() Now they have moved the self service salad bar from the dinning area to the location that had been salad plates. We placed our orders and moved down the line to the location where salad plates used to be located. Previously these items were in containers and your got your own. us a tray with silverwear and napkins on it. The interior of the restaurant reminds a person of the 1960s or 1970's. This is the first time since the COVID 19 that we have eaten at the restaurant. ![]() There were signs on the door saying face masks required. It brought back a lot of nice memories from my youth and I would love to be able to come back again, if my travels bring me close by! More I was so happy to have been able to come here again. The staff were all very pleasant and checked on our table often to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Never having been able to find chocolate pudding as good as York Steakhouse's, it was a no-brainer that was my choice. The desserts are all home made and look wonderful. The salad bar is super fresh and has a lot of choices. Same menu items, same decore, same wonderful smells! Our chopped steak was just as I remembered, cooked perfectly, and with the grill marks. was 1 remaining York Steakhouse left, and I would be visiting the area where it was located, how could I not go? Upon entering the restaurant, the menu was on the hallway walls, just as it was in the 1980's. I had always loved the way it was cafeteria style and you could choose your desserts, sides, etc. Growing up in the 80's, I went to York Steakhouse in our local mall.
